humedica Lanka started an income generating project “FISH” (Fresh ideas strengthening homes) as a Covid 19recovery Mannar. This project aims to train the vulnerable fisherman’s families so that the products are made in a more professional way adhering to the quality and marketing standard expected. The beneficiaries are trained to make products such as Panatu (A local sweet food we love) and different varieties of baskets

Through this the vulnerable families are empowered with knowledge and skills to face and manage any future challenges. humedica Lanka manages this program by monitoring all aspects of it to make this program a success.
